How You Can
Support the Foundation

• Become a Foundation Partner.

  The Foundation seeks the collaboration of friends of Slovakia and Slovak-America to support its work. While the Foundation has a vigorous program to seek support from other foundations and agencies of the government for its work, we need to foster a large circle of individual friends to make our work a success.

  Foundation partners will be called upon to provide advice to the Foundation about on-going projects. Partners will also be asked to suggest new projects for consideration and to provide links to interested organizations and individuals who share the vision of the Foundation.

  Foundation partners will be offered opportunities to travel (on self-supported trips) to Slovakia with officers of the Foundation to see programs in action, as well as receive periodic updates on the Foundation's work. Partners will also be invited to participate in occasional special meetings with important figures in Slovak government, culture, and the arts.

• Giving Circles.

  The foundation has many loyal supporters. The Board of Directors have authorized levels of special recognition for outstanding friends of Slovakia and Slovak-Americans who provide outstanding annual support.

  Krivan Circle - $1,000+: Members receive one copy of each book supported by the Foundation. Members are also invited to participate in special events featuring prominent Slovaks and Slovak-Americans. Krivan members also may receive offers to participate in exclusive cultural and artistic tours of Slovakia and historic sites in Slovak America.

  Eagles of the Tatras Circle - $500-$1,000: Members receive one copy of a book supported by the Foundation and special invitations to cultural events in selected North American cities, as well as attractive emblems of their support for the Foundation.

  Dunaj Circle - $250-$499: Members receive a selection of special edition fine art postcards featuring the photographs in Igor Grossmann's Images Gone with Time and invitations to special events.

  Presidents' Advisory Circle - $100-$249: Members receive a special Presidential update newsletter and an attractive annual calendar featuring Slovak art and artists.

• Support the Foundation's Annual Fund.

  The work of the Foundation depends on the vision, dedication, and generosity of many people. General support for the work of the Foundation is always needed and appreciated. To learn how to support the General Fund, please e-mail the foundation at info@slovakculture.org.

1. Dobsinsky's 15 stories in English and Slovak read on CD (total production estimated at $5,000).

The Foundation welcomes proposals from individuals and organizations to underwrite particular projects undertaken by the Foundation. To find out the availability of projects for underwriting, please check out the links above, or send an e-mail to the Foundation at info@slovakculture.org.

• Contribute Ideas to the Foundation.

  The Foundation welcomes new ideas for programs to accomplish its mission and is anxious to introduce potential supporters to its programs. If you know of persons and organizations who might be interested in the work of the Foundation, then please e-mail the Foundation at info@slovakculture.org.

  
  

• Visit Slovakia with the Foundation.

  Friends and supporters of the Foundation are invited to make occasional trips (self-funded) with foundation directors and officers to Slovakia to see the Foundation's work in action. For more information, then please e-mail the Foundation at info@slovakculture.org.
